The Great Classic Neohomes Tour #1: Netjuru’s Meridell Home.
Welcome to the first part of our new series: The Great Classic Neohomes Tour. A series started to get people excited about classical neohomes again, one of the most pleasing hobbies to have on Neopets. Today’s Classic Neohome is one of the earliest Neohome spotlight winners: Netjuru’s delightful Meridell Home on Ixi Meadows 3012. Despite winning many years ago, Netjuru has continued working on their estate and admittedly it’s one of my favourites in all of Neopia.
In order to view Neohomes and work on them we highly recommend installing the Ruffle Chrome extension or Firefox add-on. They’re 100% safe and make it possible to use Neohomes which were sadly broken when major browsers dropped support for flash.
We start off in the Great Hall as I find the Welcome room not that inspiring. The Great Hall is a marble room, the floor is made out of Antique Glass Bookcases with the stairs being a beautiful combination of Icy Tables and Grey Coral Tables.
Going up North we arrive in the Lobby, which uses relatively cheap Hewn Stone Sofa’s to create the ilusion of a staircase going down. Even more impressive is the star design on the floor made with popcorn garlands.
Up next is handsdown my very favourite room in this house. The Art Gallery, made primarily of Royal Oak Wood Cabinets and Classic Dining Tables.
On the middle floor we find the delightful room called Gilmallen’s Balcony, made with Funky Yellow Drawers and Hewn Stone Beds.
Notable mentions
Perhaps this room isn’t as classy but are you even a real excentric billionaire if you don’t have a room with a dedicated Star Gate?
The Garden is also rather simple but pleasant
