Weekly Neopets Insider – Week 4, 2023

Happy Kacheek day! This week we end up with markets even insaner than last week with Food Club results skyrocketing and Nerkmids prizes rising as well. These are some of the best results I’ve seen in a long while.

Food Club This Week

Wow, what a week, sure we’ve had a couple of of busts but that was made up for by 2 days of insane returns with Kosmic_Khaos and JKC7 leading the charts with their monster 120+ in a day wins.

Food Club is everything but stable but so far JKC7 managed to keep up their second place with an insane 250:70 return but the crown goes to Kosmic_Khaos again, a spot they haven’t been on since the first week, with an enormous 282:70 win.

Edit: JKC7’s 250 is correct, Kosmic_Khaos however made a 168:70 return instead of a 282:70 return.

Nsheng fans were in for a rough ride if they went with beginner or standard. Which is a huge change from last week where it was the other way around. JKrowling also fell from the top 5 but still managed to make a respectable return of 108:70.

Meanwhile last week’s newcomer Cupcake managed to slide up one spot and Ipiraat returns to the chart on a respectable 4th place after Squishlynoodles kept silent for a week and thus dropped out. Though given their track record it could have been entirely possible for them to push out Nsheng’s standards bets this week which delivered it’s worst results this year so far.

Stock Market This Week

I wonder if TNT reads the Weekly Insider as well because unexpectedly PDSS managed to peak at 89 this week. Despite me predicting the stock would likely tumble after 50, if so, hi there keep up the good work! Perhaps I should list a couple of stocks for TNT to reverse psychology them into highflyers…

Jokes aside the stock is currently floating around 70, it seems unlikely the stock will bounce up again (unless that is what they want you to think…)

As for the stars of the show, VPTS and KSON, they both finally got into their peaks before both falling again. VPTS maxed out at 1262 and KSON at 1210 before taking a path downwards again. Ultimately both stocks are still up compared to the start of the year with VPTS being up 54 since the start of the month and KSON being up 120 since the start of the month.

Which arguably makes the two stocks quite interesting if you are willing to take the risk of losing the money. They’ve both come down from their highs this week so keep an eye out for them as a good moment to buy into them might show up.

As for stocks that might fly high this week we’re looking at NAKR which is 2 days overdue for it’s usual peak frequency. The stock usually peaks out at 51 but has known highs of the 100-110 range, it’s currently at 18 which is likely the sign that it will ascend to the 30’s within this week.

Battledome Market This Week

We’re seeing the Battledome Market accelerate its growth this week, especially on the Nerkmid front!

Most nerkmids have gone up with an average of 5000 NP this week with a couple of outliers like the Copper Nerkmid going up 9000 NP and the Good Nerkmid going down 3000 NP. Bringing the average Nerkmid price up to about 184,000 NP. Which is an increase of 15,000NP compared to the beginning of the year.

Meanwhile Codestones have done quite well as well, with a less explosive growth, with the stars this week being the Bri Codestone (+700NPand the Zed Codestone (+2300NP).

Neocola tokens saw the least growth, increasing about 75 NP in value.

Calendar This Week

The calendar this week was empty to no surprise, however we’ll have a look at the items from this month so far to see if they’ve increased in value yet.

The Aisha pride set has finally found it’s value, most items dropping to reasonable under the million prices with the exception for Pride Aisha Ears which still costs around 1.8 mil. Bringing the total set to about 4.8 million neopoints.

Meanwhile the Crystal Ogrin set has finalized into a 2.8 million set.

For under 2 million you can get a Buzz Exoskeleton set and the Tar Elephante set goes for about 3.3 million right now.
