Weekly Neopets Insider – Week 2, 2023

Another week in the new year has past and it was a wild one for sure. Food Club saw huge changes amongst various betters leaving some off way better than others. Meanwhile stocks weren’t doing any better but atleast the Battledome market increased a little in value.

Food Club this week
If you compared last week’s food club results to this week’s you would never have guessed it’s composition. Whereas Kosmic Khaos topped the charts with their massive 156 win they tanked towards a 28:60, guess you can’t always be lucky. Meanwhile crowd favourites Nsheng and JKrollingdown managed to to climb to the top again, this week they dominate the top 5 with wins as high as 160.
Most bettors had about 3 to 4 bust days this week, which isn’t any better then last week but at least we’re seeing higher wins across more bettors.

Stock Market This Week
Like the Food Club Market, the stock market hasn’t done too hot this week either. Luckily our expectation of TNPT to reach 72 came true, if you haven’t sold yet you’re gonna have to be quick as it is currently hovering around 62 and likely to come down soon enough.
As for KSON and VPTS, KSON performed the best climbing about 17 points this week, reaching its highest point before falling back a little. Meanwhile VPTS moved a lot but ultimately only went up 3 points this week. These stocks are a little harder to predict but due to their price quite the risk.
Last week the stars of the show were SSS and SHRX, they’re still above average but SHRX will likely come down soon, there is however still a chance for SSS to follow it’s pattern and climb to 72, there is a risk it won’t though so sell now or take your chances.
Battledome This week
Nerkmids moved slow this week but at least they moved up a little with Ultimate Nerkmid spanning the crown and climbing with 4k to a price of 178k. Followed by Aluminium Nerkmid climbing 2k to 180k. No nerkmids managed to drop in price this week so we might be seeing the market’s hunger for nerkmids return.
Neocola tokens also went up a little, with an average of about 300NP, they’re still not the best selling prizes but still it’s nice to see an increase.
As for codestones, nothing interesting going on here other then Kew Codestones increasing slightly in price with about 2k.
Calender this week
As for culture, we celebrated Buzz Day this week with 2 new colors in the rainbow pool and a couple of new clothing items. Since Buzzes aren’t the most popular creatures there isn’t anything to write home about here.
We’ve also seen the site have some planned downtime for some bug fixes, which resulted in players experiencing even more bugs after the site went back up. However, at the moment everything seems to be stable
