Altador Cup Coverage – Day 12 Maraqua first team to bring defeat to Brightvale, will Brightvale survive Meridell?

Good afternoon everyone, yesterday was a beautiful showdown between Brightvale and Maraqua in which the Maraquans managed to beat Brightvale to pulp, winning 3 out of the 4 games and causing Brightvale’s very first loss.
This is a huge shocker for most as similar powerhouse Krawk Island had a hard time with Brightvale and eventually lost the game with a 1 point difference. Does this mean Maraqua is going for the cup? I wouldn’t be too sure about that but I am very certain the team will continue top stay in the top 6 bracket for the remaining days of the Altador Cup.
In other news, Virtupets took yet another blow, from Roo Island this time, the Roos ensured that it is near impossible for Virtupets to get back in the top 6 bracket which is now being lead by Meridel and closed by Mystery Island.
As for today’s matches, Brightvale will take up current champion Meridell, a monarch sibling rivalry that will be important for the upcoming finals. If Brightvale manages to recover from its unexpected loss yesterday they’ll eventually end up sharing a ‘first ‘ place with Krawk Island, Maraqua and Meridell. That is off course if Krawk Island can manage to win today’s highly anticipated match against Kreludor, another strong contender.
Maraqua will likely not have a hard time against Darigan Citadel which has been lacking this year and Mystery Island is also expected to win against Altador.
